The Young Republican Federation of Virginia is the Commonwealth’s premier Republican organization for young Republicans between the ages of 18 and 40. Established in 1936, YRFV is a political grassroots organization comprised of individual YRs chapters that lead recruitment and volunteer efforts across the Commonwealth on behalf of Republican candidates.
As Young Republicans, we believe it is time to set our standards higher for growing the Republican Party. Together, we will break barriers, challenge stereotypes, and build bridges in our efforts to reach out to a younger generation of voters. By raising our own expectations, we can promote our Republican nominees to victory, activate the next generation of Republican leadership, and strengthen the Republican Party in order to elevate Virginia to greater heights of prosperity, opportunity, and freedom.
The YRFV is overseen by a Statewide Executive Board, which consists of the Federation Officers, 11 Congressional District Representatives, club chairmen, and the statewide Chairman Emeritus. The Federation Officers and the CD Representatives are elected bi-annually, in odd numbered years, at YRFV’s annual Statewide Convention.

That the free enterprise system is the most productive supplier of human needs and economic justice,
That all individuals are entitled to equal rights, justice, and opportunities and should assume their responsibilities as citizens in a free society,
That fiscal responsibility and budgetary restraints must be exercised at all levels of government,
That the Federal Government must preserve individual liberty by observing Constitutional limitations,
That peace is best preserved through a strong national defense,
That faith in God, as recognized by our Founding Fathers is essential to the moral fiber of the Nation.
